Wayne, the feedback I’ve had from the team day at Holmescales, without exception, is that it was a very enjoyable day. We thought the facilities, both the conference centre and the activity barn, were just right, the food was good and the mix of activities well judged. From a personal point of view, I would have been happy with 4 sessions on the quad bike! :-). Thanks for your help organizing the day.

What a fabulous half day entertainment and well worth the money! Thanks to you for your very efficient organising and to Ryan for his patience today. We completed an hour off roading and then tank driving along with target shooting to finish off for a 50th birthday present. Ryan had incredible patience with us (me!) wimps who are frightened of heights as well as being a fabulous teacher and confidence builder. Never would I have imagined being able to go around terrain like that and certainly not down that great big hill. Apologies for all my squealing at the start and for Stewart’s selective hearing of the “rules” when tanking down hill. We will return ready for more and yes people, the cakes are fabulous too.

Personally, I thought the day was fantastic and an event to remember. It ticked all the boxes with regard to having something for everyone and being a fun packed day. 10/10; excellent venue, food, facilities, good instructors etc. Hard to fault really and really good value for the whole day. Quads, archery, shooting, meal all good, very good. We hope at some point to return to Homescales, in the mean time keep up the good work. If there are any offers in 2012 please let me know.

Everything ran very smoothly from the hotel to the activities we had no issues whatsoever. Everyone enjoyed both the fly fishing and the blindfold driving especially the winning team who thrashed my team!! The guys at the fly fishing were really nice and friendly and spent time making sure everyone knew what they were doing and the weather just made the day even more perfect. We all enjoyed the blindfold driving and everyone said how nice the food was especially the delicious homemade biscuits. Thanks again for all your help we would definitely consider using you in future and will recommend Homescales to anyone else.

I have to say I’ve had nothing but positive feedback from all the guys who attended the team building day, they all thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the ‘sheep herding’, I’ve heard some of the stories and it sounds like they all had a great time. They fully enjoyed the buffet, except I think they struggled to do it justice but enjoyed the challenge all the same. The Holmescales team were what really helped to make the day go smoothly and ensured that everyone got into the spirit of things. All in all a great day was had by all and very many thanks to you and the guys who made it so. Hope to see you again in the future

We were booked in for off-road time trials & clay pigeon shooting and we all came away delighted with the time that we had had -everything from the cake & coffee at the start to the off-road landrover trip back from shooting was superbly organised by your friendly and enthusiastic staff. Thank you for your time on Wednesday everyone enjoyed the day but suffering from a few bruises and aches from the paintball. The refreshments were great and adequate and helped us throughout the day. Wayne and the team - can i say what a fab day we had with you on saturday, it was brill! The organisation of the day, timings, flexibility of you all were very accommodating and fun to be with for the duration. The group also commented on the available refreshments, home made cakes, tea, coffee, water and lunch. We all said what top quality it was and were very complimentary about the food etc... The staff attitude and banter was ideal for my group, we had a ball! Also a massive thanks to your photography skills, combined with my pics we have about 180 in total of fab memories! The talk of the night was all about the day so from start to finish it was a positive experience. We all had a scream! Please pass on our comments also to Phil and George who both also added fun to our day, sarah has continued with her comments about George and i think Maria scared Phil a little! ha ha ha! Wayne, I'm writing to say a huge thank you to you and all the staff at Holmescales Activity Centre. All of us here thoroughly enjoyed our day out up at Holmescales last Friday to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our business. Feedback from everyone is a "double thumbs up" all round as you laid on a brilliant day for us. The activities were exhilarating and immense fun, whilst being quite challenging to some of us, giving a huge sense of achievement at the end of the day! The refreshments provided and the lunch at the conference barn was fabulous with the home-made fare being much appreciated. Also say a BIG thank you to all of the people who were involved in helping us on the activities, they were all first class! The hotel choice was excellent also! All combined it resulted in being a most memorable time and we shall look back fondly. In closing i would like to say we would highly recommend you to any establishment or individuals and we look forward to celebrating our 15th anniversary in fine style with you again!

Honestly we can’t fault you. My team all really enjoyed the activities (despite the weather). The hotel you found us was excellent and the conference barn and food you provided was superb. Equally Ryan and Phil looked after us on day 1 and are a credit to you. This was a new venture for us as a company. We had never tried activities like this, linked to a sales meeting and everyone thought it was a great success.
I’m sure we will be back again in the new year, perhaps when it gets a little warmer.

Just to say we had a great time. The transfer in the Land Rovers added to the experience and the build up, and the team loved the off road adventure on the way back! You have the facilities just right, if you could change the weather next time it would be great, but apart from that I wouldn't change a thing.

A thank you also to George who was great with the archery, especially in looking after Dianne and getting her to point the bow and arrow in the right direction - even hitting the target. The event last week really was a huge success. It was an excellent team-building event and as we were split into teams there was also a friendly competitive element as well. A lot of us were surprised how quickly we finished the wall and how easily it all came together - however this was most probably down to the ‘experts’ grouping the stones together for us!! We also liked that we were fixing a wall that will remain in place as opposed to building one that will be taken down once our activity had finished. Many thanks again for arranging a really good activity and we will certainly keep you in mind for future events.

We had a great day last week. As always you treated us really well and I know the team felt energised after the event. We are not sitting together as one team at the moment - so it was important to us that we got everyone mixing and working together - you definitely achieved that for us - thank you.
