Our philosophy

At Holmescales we believe in nothing less than complete customer satisfaction and enviromental preservation. We are continually changing and maintaining our paths and tracks as well as planting trees in order to preserve the magnificence of the land we operate on. As part of our enviromental management plan we can now offer our clients the opportunity to plant a native decidous tree at the holmescales site. These trees will hopefully be there for hundreds of years protecting the enviroment and a chance for you and your company to put something back.

We only use highly trained qualified instructors to ensure the safety of all our clients whilst guaranteeing the best quality service there is to offer.

Lake District carbon neutral events

Due to the motorised nature of many of Holmescale's activities we are now offering groups the opportunity to off-set some of the environmental consequences of burning fossil fuels in our quads, landrover's and rally buggies.

The way we run carbon neutral events is not too dissimilar to our conventional events, except the team get together at the end of the event to plant the required number of English oak trees to absorb all the CO² emissions from the day's activities (we will calculate in advance the number of trees required). A small plaque will then be set by the trees planted to serve as a permanent reminder of the day.

Wherever you see the Oak Leaf Carbon neutral event it is possible to make the event "Carbon Neutral".
