Directions
From the North (M6)
Exit at M6 junction 37 and turn left at the top of the slip road.
After approximately 300 metres take the right turn signposted Old Hutton. Continue for just less than a mile until you find the reservoir on your right.
Turn right along the side of the reservoir, past the sailing club (on the right) and continue for several miles on this bendy road. Don't turn off at any of the junctions.
At the end (T-junction) turn right to go over the M6, follow the road for a few hundred metres to a crossroad.
Go straight over the crossroad and continue for just over 1 mile (pass Holmescales Farm on the right) then a few hundred metres further to a gateway on the left with the Holmescales Activity Centre sign.
Travel up the gravel driveway and park in the car park at the top in front of the lodge.
